Food Mood: Restaurant Recommendation Web App

Tired of the same old restaurants? I built Food Mood to solve that! Now, friends and family share can their favorite local spots, and the app gives you hidden gems nearby. Discover and share the best food in your area!

Backstory

My wife and I were trying to decide what we wanted to eat one night. We were sick of the same old spots. We love it when our friends recommend us new spots in our area.

How does it work?

• Simple frontend: HTML + Tailwind CSS - Gonna rebuild with Astro JS soon (maybe 👀)
• Hosted on Netlify - Free hosting for any website.https://www.netlify.com/
• Netlify has built in forms - Copy & paste code: https://docs.netlify.com/forms/setup/…
• Created a Google sheet where the form entries will live.
• Using Zapier to connect the Netlify Form -> Google sheet.https://zapier.com/
